I served in the Army from Dec 1991 – Oct 2016 when I officially retired. I have traveled around the world and lived abroad which is definitely an experience. My job was Supply and Logistics where I coordinated with multiple vendors, warehouses and transportation companies to acquire supplies, equipment, food for soldiers throughout the country and various countries.
I accounted for a $150,000 budget and more than 5 million dollars in equipment and supplies where I routinely inspected and performed maintenance. I have assisted in and personally trained/ mentored over 1000 soldiers during my 24 year career. Over 80% of those soldiers have received numerous awards and accolades for excellence as well as received promotions and advanced in their careers. Some of my awards include the Joint Service Achievement Medal, United Nations Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, National Defense Medal.

I enjoy networking with others and serving my fellow peers through mentorship, community involvement. I enjoy sharing my military experience in leadership and team building. I also enjoy watching and/ or attending football/ basketball games. I also enjoy traveling and meeting new people with different experiences than mine.
